836-C1-339 Psychoanalytic perspective of the discourse contained in children’s artistic production in the San Ramón canton’s central region, in the 2021-2022 period.

Objetivo:

To analice the discourse contained in children’s artistic production in the San Ramón canton’s central region, from a psychoanalytic perspective, with the goal of exploring the main themes and signifiers (related to the perception of self and their surroundings) in them.

Descripción:

The project plans to explore the discourses that are built in and from childhood. Dance and writing are proposed as mediums of expression, and corporal and written narrative, two workshops will be developed (one about dance and another one about writing), in which children from the ages of 7 to 11 years participate. As a result of these two spaces of creation a series of choreographies and short narratives will be obtained, which will analyze from a psychoanalytic perspective their main themes and signifiers (related to the perception of self and their surroundings) exposed by their creators. Considering the analysis of the elements that are contained in the discourses that make up the world of children as fundamental, due to the fact that they are not listened to much from the world of adults, and it could bring us a new vision to understand subjectivity.

This study is, in a way, a continuation of two previous projects, which have proven the importance of building alternative interdisciplinary research ways (art, psychology, and psychoanalysis), as well as contributing with results to the importance of the study of and work with the participating populations (teenagers and elderly people).
