Objetivo:

To provide students, researchers and others interested in Greek mythology, a reference work that explains the etymological meaning of the names of Greek mythical characters and establishes a relationship between said etymological meaning and the actions that each character performs in the myth or its intertextual recreation in ancient Greek literature.

Descripción:

This linguistic investigation determines the etymology of Greek mythological names and draws up, from there, a dictionary with these names, in order to serve as a guide in the interpretation and analysis of the literary texts in which many of those names are used intertextually.
