Since 2015, under the initiative of the renowned writer's family, the Editorial of the University of Costa Rica considered it of wide national interest to carry out a new edition of the author's Complete Works, a work that had as context the celebration of the centenary of the birth of Dobles.

As part of this initiative, the researcher was asked to carry out an introductory study of "The Complete Works of Fabián Dobles", to verify the formal aspects and the linguistic management of said works. As a result, this research project was presented, the purpose of which was to carry out an introductory study of the literary work of Fabián Dobles that preceded the first volume of these new Complete Works.
