This research aims to study how community water resource management processes are developed in the canton of San Ramón, specifically working with ASADAS in the area, to learn about opportunities, scope, limitations and challenges in the work carried out.

Likewise, it is intended to identify the conceptions of community management of the water resource that the members of the Boards of Directors of the ASADAS have, in order to reveal whether there is coherence between their ways of conceiving it and their performance in the community setting.

The purpose of this study is to build knowledge that can be taken as a reference by the university to formulate a proposal for social action and strengthen existing actions.
