836-B3-731 Tales of elves, scares, and apparitions: orality and construction of identities

Objetivo:

To collect stories about elves, scares and apparitions, which are part of the cultural heritage of the canton of San Ramón, for the analysis of orality and construction of identities.

Descripción:

The project sought to recognize the relationship between orality and cultural heritage, in order to determine how the identity of western Costa Rica is constructed. This is achieved through the compilation of tales from the Ramon oral tradition; As a result of this compilation, 10 texts were written (eg, Apariciones, De la mano a la mona, Procesión de las ánimas, Bajo la flor de la piñuela). Finally, the elements of the Ramon cultural heritage present in that corpus are determined.
